Combined, we’ve been to all 7 continents. Michael still has to see Australia though.
- All 7 continents
- Michael has been to all 50 states
- Combined, we’ve been to over 60 countries. Halef has been to several more of them than Michael.
- Antarctica isn’t shaded here, but we spent time there as well
Countries we’ve visited
We’ve been traveling for a couple of decades now. But we’ve only traveled together since around 2009. So there are some countries here that Michael’s been to and some that Halef has been to with no intersection between the two. On the other hand, we’ve either been to most of them together or seen them separately over the years.
Keeping in mind that we only started writing about these places in 2017, you’ll notice a lot of them don’t have links. We’ll get to those as we revisit them.

- Clarenville, Newfoundland
- Fredericton, New Brunswick
- Southern Ontario (I worked on a train, so no specific place.)

- Atlanta, Georgia, USA
What’s in store for 2020?
Although we started our Round the World trip in August 2019, 2020 will step our trip into high gear. We’re going to spend 4 months in Southeast Asia. We expect to be in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and Vietnam.
